What might this be ?

I Have a 09 g37s coupe 6spd and if I'm in any gear cruising and get on it a little bit the clutch goes up about 2k Rpm's comes back down and then grabs and takes off. Is this normal

Hrmm, sounds like it could be the clutch is slipping under power. From my other manual cars, the test is to put it in an upper gear and get on the gas to see if it slips. Either that or something is going on with the slave cylinder.

It depends on how hard you drive and how you launch from 1st gear. If you baby it, you might get a few months out of it.

But when I floor it from a dead stop and go through all 4 gears it doesn't slip at all

Put it in 6th gear around 2000rpms now floor it..
If the clutch is good the car will take off slowly, if the clutch is bad the rpms will shoot up and the car won't accelerate.
