Wheel bearing failures

I noticed that several people have mentioned that they had to replace their wheel bearing. My 2008 is at 70K miles, I'm wondering if I should replace them over the winter for peace of mind.

I don't see any reason for preemptive replacement of wheel bearings. I have an older Nissan with way over 200K miles and just had to replace on a few months ago. Don't replace a perfectly good part for no reason.
