anyone using rp max gear for rear end? I'm thinking of using this. Looking for input. Thanks

 

i had RP MG in the pumpkin for about 2 weeks, then drained it and changed it to amsoil high temp/pressure.

i HEARD rp breaks down really easy.

i don't know how true it is, but i didn't want to take the chance.


besides, amsoil is a little cheaper than RP.

 

I called into RP and talked to one of their reps selling the products. They told me that RP products were designed mostly for American tuner cars. Such as the cars you see dom driving in fast and furious.

 

Tried it in my diff, didnt like it when starting cold the car felt like it was shifting hard in auto. After about 5-10 minutes it became normal.
I drained it after about 25K, surprisingly it still came out purple.

 

Redline gear oil or go home. Used it in my rear differential on my 08' g37s and never had any issues.
