forced induction on 5at

Is it worth it to get a single turbo or tt or supercharge my g37 with a 5at? I am really throwing the thought around, but I really am not sure if I want to do it because it is automatic. I dont know how the transmission will hold up and I dont know if it will be worth it in the end.

Any information would be nice. Let me know what you guys think!

This topic has been beaten to death over and over again. Auto transmission can handle it, with upgrades. FI is the best way to increase Hp, but is very very expensive. You would be better off starting with a cheaper car and going FI with that.

Basically, if you have to do FI, yes you can do it, but it's expensive. 10,000 is a price to START doing FI. You'll spend more before you're done. Super will be cheaper than turbo, but has less upgrade capability.

FWIW, save your money and pick something else to boost. The G37 is a pretty heavy car and there's no replacement for displacement.
