Unfortunately some bad news. My package arrived with my vb broken at gtm... So I had no choice but to purchase a new one. Hope they get it all done by end of day today and ship it out. I need my car back together before end of day Wednesday.

On a side note. Timp go ahead and pm a guy named "Sena" on this site. He will hook you up with all the local events happening with the g group locally. Or just pm me and I will pass you his number to get a hold of him or pm me your number and I will pass it to him. The group is pretty decent size out here. In fact there are meets every month or more.
Thanks for the info!! Sam at GTM suggested doing the VB Upgrade before going FI. It is the best upgrade ever. I have ordered the 2SC kit and should be ready soon.

Nice, Sam is the one dealing with this whole ordeal for my car right now. I just hope to have my car back before the weekend as I have a car show I'm leaving for Friday morning.

So... Who broke the original valve body and, are they responsible? I'm thinking your stooges at the garage upon removal? Poor shipping box? Same thing.

Your timeline is a 'best case' scenario. Considering what I've read, I"d give EVERYONE involved more time to do it correctly.

Go visit the show, but leave the car back on the till it's perfecto.

Haste makes waste...

This is the car show I wait all year for. It's the largest and best in the area. I have been to it in the years before and I look forward to having my car there all year. If I miss this I will want to kill myself! I have done soo many mods since last year that I do mainly for this show! I swear this is the worst thing in the world to be happening to me right now. I even have people relying on me for rides on the way down since its a 2 day trip.

I am praying it all works out. It has too! I don't know what I would do if I can't make it down with my car! I might sound kind of psycho I know but with all the work I have done on my car since last year for this show you would be kind of psycho too!

Hey the show is in kent, Washington. It's called forumfest. Me and our car group of G's and Z's go to it every year. It's something I look forward too more then anything every year.

On an update, the VB is on overnight shipping right now to my shop and is suppose to arrive before 12pm Friday. So hope it arrives early and I can get my car back on the road before the afternoon rush!

I have one more question about the update though and I know I will figure it out tomorrow but if anyone like Timp or g37sam know... Does this upgrade raise my stall speed? Or in other words does it raise the amount of rpms I can put out with my foot on the break?

Made it there, it was good. Tried the drag strip, but of course there was no launch control on the G so the takeoff sucked. But still ran a 13.5 quarter mile, soo not too bad without launching it.

My Overall Review on the GTM 7spd Valvebody Upgrade:

- Upshifting Difference is about 50% quicker
- Downshifting Difference is about 90% quicker
- Lag from 5th to 4th gear is there only once in a while instead of every time.
- DS mode driving feels amazingly smooth and shifts at more appropriate times. When flooring the throttle it downshifts quicker without lag like it use to have.
- D mode feels like there are not even gears. It is so soft at changing that I would not be able to tell its shifting if not for loud exhaust.
- Shipping: is the biggest pain in the butt. As previous posts will show. Very Well Packed when received back to me so Good on GTM part, but when you ship the part down make sure you double box it in lots of foam and bubblewrap.

Overall: A very nice upgrade, but that 5th to 4th gear problem is still there sometimes and it can get annoying. So in my eyes a definite upgrade but overall difference is about 70%. So a 7/10 for a good upgrade.

There is your vid of the race, Low Quality I know. Sorry but its not like I was taking the vid. So since you probably want proof, I attached a picture as well.
