I prefer the up-shifts on DS, they seem to be much smoother and the car drives more like it should IMO.
Agree with you on this one, makes it seem like is either the driver that has not gotten the hang of braking or something is just wrong with the car.
I try to not to drive on DS with a loaded car as the weight does make a difference in acceleration.
Is a whole another story when i'm alone though.

Right now I'm driving mainly in D as I just topped the 300 mile mark and am trying to be a good boy during the break in period. I always know I'm in trouble if I get out of the car and I can smell the engine. I'm doing my best to stay under 4k rpm and no heavy revving. I really can't wait to begin to drive this car like it was made to be driven.

Most of us on this forum are in trouble a LOT! These engines run hot and doesn't take much of a spirited run to smell the belly of the beast

I run M if I want to hear more of the sweet VQ or just blast around, otherwise D for the most part, rarely use DS. So I guess about 60% M in the city, and 95% D on the hwy.
