whining noise when wheel turned all the way?

I just traded my 2011x coupe for a 13 sport. when I turn the wheel all the way to the left or right and give gas it makes a loud whining noise. I took it to the dealership and they looked at all the steering components and said that nothing is wrong and that noise is normal. I insisted that it wasnt normal and they checked it out a second time and still told me everything is good and the noise is a normal noise. My x did not make this sound when the wheel was turned all the way and I was just wondering if any of you sport model guys have the same noise when the wheel is turned all the way to either side and giving gas.

By turning all the way, do you mean turning it all the way to full lock until it stops and continuing to apply some pressure? If so, that noise is your power steering pump and rack telling you "Stop that! You're hurting me!" Your steering system's turning radius is only designed to go so far. Don't turn it beyond that. Don't put the steering wheel in a bind.

Otherwise, check your power steering fluid level and belts.

not turning all the and applying pressure just turning the wheel until it hits a stop and letting go. When I do that and rev the engine a little it produces a whine. my x did not do this. just curious if its just an s thing since the steering does turn a little more than the x.

They used many iterations of power steering pump on the G over the years, some quieter then others.... whatever pump you have now does not like to be rev'd while under load. It won't hurt anything but your going to have go and pick up some cheese (whatever type you like).
