And 370z CF driveshaft

I know the angles are all different but it just looks shorter.... wish it was the same length.
Will not fit, wheel base is too short for the CF driveshaft. There's a company that can produce carbon fiber driveshafts for our cars, but they would need a stock steel shaft to go off of (basically you're donating your stock driveshaft + paying up to $1,200). Only reason I didn't go with that option was because the cost behind building the carbon fiber to the aluminum wasn't worth it to me in terms of weight savings for almost triple the premium.

Makes a whole lot of sense. I contacted Z1 a while ago after production had closed, but they said that they would be making another batch "soon". Despite, I understand the concept of rotational mass, but I just can't seem to grasp my head around the idea of this aluminum shaft making that much of a difference, even on dig pulls -- will have to take your guys' word for it.

Question though -- you guys think from a roll, the mass of the aluminum shaft (difference) becomes negligible? There has to be a point where the power being transferred to the back wheels is at MAX. Can't turn it any faster than it's going to go, ya know? Then again...maybe it'll help initially on the roll pull? Hm...

The only time there would be absolutely no benefit at all would be if the shaft is already spinning at its maximum speed - red line. Obviously the closer you get to red line the less difference it will make. Conversely the lower the RPM and further away you are from maximum rotational speed the greater the benefit. Unless some physics guru steps in and tells me I'm completely wrong.

First and foremost I'd like to thank OP for introducing me to yet another reason why my girlfriend isn't going to get a Valentines present.

Second - please let me know when this group buy happens so I too can spend a lot more money on yet another part that will add minimal gains! YAY!

I know how that goes. I try to save up enough cash so that I can put a little on the card when I get upgrades then pay the rest in cash and pass it off as "routine maintenance" LOL!
