Service engione soon light blinking

The service engine soon light started blinking this morning on my way into work. I was driving on the highway and once the light came on the car hesitated when I stepped on the gas. I brought it to the dealership since it was only a few miles from where I was. BTW its a 2011 G37X with 14,500 miles on it. I was curious if this happened to anyone else and what the cause was.

best bet was to take it to the dealer

If its anything big you shouldn't have to worry. Most (if not all) of the car should be 100% under warranty

No mods yet. I've had the car for just over 3 months. Everything should be covered, but still annoying. Although I must say the customer service at the dealership was pretty good. They gave me a loaner and I was on my way in about 45 minutes. This wasn't even the dealership I purchased the car through.

yes i must agree that infiniti service is awesome. i work for an auto group that has 3 Infiniti franchises just lately i had a problem with mine.

i started the car immediatly after i shut it off when i got to my destination and all of a sudden it makes a loud metal clunk sound directly under the engine near driver seat. i have only been using premium fuel and i only have 8,700 miles on the car. dealer says its from the backward pressure from the exhaust (since i have a muffler delete) that cause the noise. which i dont believe i have done this to a number of cars and never had i have a proplem like this. idk where to take it for another opinion?
