Service Engine Soon
Service Engine Soon
I was driving to a training class in my 2008 coupe and as I pulled into the parking lot a service engine light appeared. I thought nothing of it so I reseated my gas cap. When I left for lunch the car would not go above 2K RPM and started cutting out terribly.
Took it to Infinity even though it's out of warranty they said it was showing 6 different codes. They reset all the codes washed and vacuumed my car and said it was running fine now and to try it out. He also let me know there was no charge.
It has been running fine for a week now and once again I am impressed with Infiniti service.

Infiniti sure does take care of their customers. I just got my car back from getting a new slave and master cylinder installed. Showed up they had a loaner waiting for me. They kept me up to date every step of the way and did a great job.
That's nice of them. The local dealer where I live wouldn't do something like that. My guess is they know they are the only Infiniti dealer in a 70 mile radius, so they don't need to be extra nice, or have techs that make sense at times...
OP, maybe you were treated different because you went to this "Infinity" dealership
