I was checking my spark plugs the other day because periodically like once every two weeks, Ill get a P0300 code random misfire.Upon removal I discovered that one of the spark plugs on the passenger side had a decent amount of oil on it. Not sure if this is the culprit but I will still like to have this fixed. I was told that the whole valve cover will have to be replaced and I do not want to pay the stealership hundreds of dollars to do something that I'm sure I can do. Does anyone know where I can find a DIY with pics on how to remove this? Thanks any help is appreciated

 

This isn't a easy task to do but if you're skillful enough you certainly can. Keep in mind that our cars don't use paper gaskets anymore and will require Nissan gasket maker.
