You got lucky because virtually nobody in the USA has the stock oil cooler in the G37. That thing won't hold up at the track or anything so don't be happy. I've known guys with the 350's remove that and install a aftermarket one.

Weird. Was your 08 imported from the Middle East? Did you buy it used? Is it possible that the car you bought had an engine swapped?

I'll be honest, I wondered if you were maybe screwing with us because I've been under my 08 quite a bit and I know that mine doesn't have that.

 

No...I bought it new. Right off the lot.

 

Any other unusual goodies on your car that aren't supposed to be there? What are you going to do with the motor you bought? I smell a build and swap..

 

Havent seen anything else right off....that stood out compared to the other motor. May end up doing something but havent made up my mind yet exactly what....I will keep you posted though if I see anything else and what I end up doing.

 

Hey, if you can't figure out what you want to do with that motor I'd be interested in it later on. I can surely use that bottom block and build it for more boost that is if you wanna sell it
