Yea I was wondering if we needed the catch boxes but the car has been fine since i put them on.. I no longer feel the car boggle out after a few hours of driving of driving it... i only put the passenger side on and driver side has a direct hose to it.... if it would act up again ill put that side on as well...... whats the purpose for these containers ?

It's to catch any oil blow by from the valve train

So not having those on will thrown the cel light i take it . cause like i said my car use to boggle out it hasnt done it now

Not necessarily. They are insurance. Under normal operating conditions there shouldn't be a lot of oil misting up that high.

oh ok well since i put the driver side one on it hasnt turned back on.... but at time the car has a small hesitation at take off or from 4rpm and up need to keep looking at the vaccum lines

your car will throw a check engine light without both of those hooked up on a stillen gen3 cai. when i had my front lip mounted they busted the fitting on one while taking off my bumper. didnt make it 5 miles before the cel came on.

Yup put them on and no more check engine light ... now Im on the the exhaust lol dont like the sound to much i need to put the resonators back on
