Raddling noise from 6mt
Raddling noise from 6mt
I just recently got my g37s about a month ago, it was brand new out the dealer, i am the first owner. From time to time i get the raddling noise from under the car after a bit of driving, the noise goes away when the clutch is pushed in and comes back when released. Sounds as if somethings lose.
Any ideas whats up? Thanks in advance

Same here, and mine is an 08. Dealership said it's the flywheel that makes the rattling noise and, unfortunately, is normal. The same when I turn my car off, I hear a rattle, as if the transmission shakes. This one also disappears if we depress the clutch before turning the ignition off. Hope that helps!
lol its true it sounds like a caveman with 2 rocks rubbing them together. ive driven much cheaper cars that dont make this damn noise. its irritating especially if you are next to a wall just stopped.

Clutch chatter is normal for the 6MT but it doesn't bother me much. Surprised Infiniti haven't fixed this embarrassing problem on the '12 models. To the people with aftermarket clutch/flywheel does the clutch chatter still exist with yours? I kno BB can answer this!
Much louder than OEM does. I have aftermarket clutch and flywheel.

This must be something that develops with mileage/age. At 3K miles on the odo, I hear nothing. I'm well familiar with the noise as the z28 had it, quite loudly too.
