GTM Performance Engineering: VQ37VHR Twin Supercharger System
There were some minor delays for the past six weeks that slowed things down. Basically a previous shop had my O2 sensors wired wrong, the upstream senor in the LTH J tube, and the downstream O2 sensor in the freestream tube just after the merge collector. I have the pics in my journal, but don't want to post it in here as it really doesn't have to do with the kit it's self. Also found out CSF radiator won't work with this kit, Z1 hoses don't work as it has it's own, my AE performance oil cooler is too big, and won't work either...
Soooo.... I replaced it with GTM's 70mm radiator, SPAL fan and shroud, twin 25 row oil coolers, their new baffled oil pan, and had them take care of the sensors issues. Good news is the ECU isn't fried and only needed two new sensors. Bad news? My wallet is feeling the pain of the upgrades. So with the help of GTM, I have a for sale thread in the Z forums to help clear out everything that didn't fit and to recoup some lost money to fund this project. Hopefully it wraps up in the next month or so and GTM posts a thread on the project.

FORCED INDUCTION
GTM G37 Twin Supercharger Kit - Turn-KeyWe have installed already this kit on an AWD vehicle with a 4.2 stroker engine and built automatic transmission. The vehicle is currently at an upholstery shop and once it gets back we will finalize the tuning and showcase the car.

GTM Twin Super Charger (initial)
This is a post I pulled from my journal on the Z forums, edited it a bit as well. Dyno posted was without meth, I don't know what the numbers with meth are.
Oh my effin goodness, that car is absurd! It drives like a Z with more power at slow speeds. Everything is just butter. Once past 3500 rpm I can really feel things open up. 1st gear is just sacrificial to your tire God. Outside of that the car holds traction surprisingly well. But the reality is, no one will truly understand how refined this car feels, and how fantastic it feels to drive until you're in it. I'm amazed. Words just feel inadequate. I felt like a little kid, the smiles on mine and my Wife's face was permanent. The money spent felt irrelevant. It's absolutely outstanding. I did confirm the superchargers are Rotrex C30-94's which are the largest in the line. Sam seriosly did four pulls on the dyno while tuning and it put down what it did. They weren't even going for big numbers! GTM will post a thread on the finished product so I'll let them finish this off and then just append it here. I serious stand here amazed and lost for words to fully describe it. It feels so natural and evolutionary in the way it feels and makes power!
The superchargers make a faint high pitched whine too. Darth Vader BPV sound effects rock. The Whiteline sways are great. Not sure what they set them at, but roll and understeer were minimal. New rotors lines and pads made a big diff in brake feel, the car has much more initial bite too. The clutch feels stiffer with the JWT clutch/flywheel. It def chatters. I don't mind, Wife wants me to upgrade to an OSG unit when it goes. Sam feels it won't last too long at these power levels. The flywheel really lets the engine spin quickly, I noticed it immedietly, more so then pulleys. SRM is rev matching like a champ, it feels much more aggressive. I dig it. That's most of the good stuff I can think of in my 15 min drive. Hood struts... Eff that prop rod.
12 August: Added pics of the Meth reservoir GTM put in my car. It's located in the hatch just below the strut tower bar. Not sure what the white thing is... most likely a pump of some sort?

Tentative pickup date is Saturday! Tomorrow they should be finishing up the retuning, the fan module and any other loose ends. We'll see if there will be any more last minute show stoppers! I have this POS Sentra rental I'm dying to get rid of. No cruise control, no cigarette plug in to charge stuff, no key fob, only one key lock on the driver side door, and it sounds like someone stuck a lawnmower on a motorboat with the CVT it has. It's just awful. This time I will upload vids and pics of the Z...
21 September: Picked up car from GTM last night. Tail lights weren't working. Relay in the engine bay for the tail lights was corroded. So it was replaced. They are working on fixing a squeaky pulley when it's cold. I noticed it last night. Hopefully this doesn't take long.
Edit: Well... took long, finally have her back by 3pm
Edit: Eating before I get on the road. They topped off my meth and made sure the pulley was g2g
Edit: Confirmed pulley size is 92mm. In Barstow, running like a champ
Edit: Car made it home without issue. Oil temps got to about 218 when driving at a "brisk" pace for 20+ miles up the mountains and temps hitting about 98 degrees. Adding a few pics I took. Car is dirty as hell, still need to do videos... Took a pic of the relays, the tail light one was replaced, new brakes, front bumper area, and meth gauge
Edit: Unfortunately vids have to wait till next weekend... Ran out of time in my day.
22 September: Wife drove it today while I was out of town. She's loving the power. I think she is power hungry, now she wants her car to be fast like mine. The pulley still squealed when cold, but she said she only noticed it when she started to drive and only for a few blocks. I had a C4 trying to bother me, I put a few school busses between us with out much effort. Random Bmw's and Audi's revved on me till they heard my BPV hissing at them. They no longer felt it a good idea. There were a few broken Honda necks with youngins eyeraping the car. Probably trying to figure out what is hiding under the bonnet. Car garages force me to roll down the windows and go hooning to see how many alarms I can get to go off. I'm still trying to pin point rasp or drone, but I haven't heard or felt any. The pitch changes from low and deep to high around 4-5k rpm. It's so deep I can feel it in my chest when I press the gas, but it doesn't give me a headache at any rpm. There is no raspy tinny sound that I can hear, but sounds close to it as it starts climbing past the mid range. Ill post vids and new dynos when I get back home.
