Nitrous?
Nitrous?
Does anybody on this forum use it? If so how big of a shot? I was looking at g35's and fully bolted on with a 100 shot and a tune, they were putting beatings on 400-500hp cars. My thoughts are shouldnt the 7 be more responsive to nitrous? My plans would be doing the same thing as the 5 I seen over at driver. What do you guys think about it?
I think, nitrous makes you a d-bag and that you shouldn't consider it. While it may fit a vehicle like the Z, it makes the G a bit more childish. I'm all for modifying your vehicle and making it uniquely what you want it to be. I see a modification like this one the same way I see putting 24" spinners on your car. Yes, you can, but you need to ask if you should, not if you can.
But, to each his own.

Considering coming from a low 12 sec car to this luxury car, its definitely nice. Im not gonna lie but I'm always gonna be missing the power. And all the FI kits are just ridiculous. Paying so much for some low #'s. But that's why I'm considering this. If it's worth it, I'll do it. If not, I'll get me a little project like a miata and do an lsx swap. Just some ideas. Lols @ the f&f reference..guess I might as well get use to the nissan humor
I have nx, 100 shot.
The look on someone's face when they walked, priceless
I'm getting a progressive controller, to increase shot.
Will be running dual stage, next summer.
Plus this car needs torque, nitro is all torque.

Plus 1000 for the FI kits being ridiculously EXSPENSIVE, I have always had a 400+ WHP car so I'm always missing something.. LOL $$ and brains.

with the the fuel safety switch. About as bad as mounting a turbo backwards.
Bottom line no limit mototsport killed my engine.
Have had new motor for 2 yrs with uprev & tuned by performance motorsports no issues.
That's what happens when a shop just don't know basics, as long as they know how to install.
It's only a problem if you don't have all the electronics.
Sorry you don't approve Sam.

^ aren't there internal issues with running nitrous? what's the build factor on the motor? or are you running 100 shot with stock internals?
i wonder if there's a way to "build" a motor for nitrous. probably is - anyone care to share?

I have a 100 shot wet and have had multiple nitrous, and turbo setups on many different cars. . . It is 100% safe, people who dont "approve" of nitrous are have no basis, if used correctly it fine. . . I recommend installing yourself as long as you have ever worked on a car in your life it should take you no more then 1 hour to do, use a wet kit not a dry kit so that you are mixing gas with the nitrous and you wont run lean, if you are going to use a 100shot or more then use 1-step colder spark plugs (20min to change) and anything over 100 shot grab a walbro 255lph fuel pump, if staying at 100 or less then the wet kit without the pump is fine and some plugs. . . its nothing like the feeling of hitting a 100shot in a civic because are cars are heavier but it does the job just fine. . .
As far as needing a progressive controller for more you can use it but you dont NEED it. . . All you need is a good tuner that is familiar with nitrous and has a drill kit to drill the jets on the dyno so that you can keep your a/f where it needs to be and consider running 100+ octane gas if you can get it easily where you live. . .
Bottom line is a complete kit, new plugs, and someone to drill jets on dyno should cost you less then 600 and you can get an additional 100 HP
