While slowing down i notice a slight "lag" every time i brake for a stop sign or stop light. i looked at transmission lag and it was no use. this car has about 27k miles. is it the car thats the problem and if yes, can i take into the dealer because warranty covers it, or is it normal?

 

are you talking about the transmission downshifting to assist in breaking? that is normal but should not be jerky unless your in DS mode.

 

it is kinda jerky and no i am not in DS mode.
