Getting my G37s coupe uprev tune this weekend. Need some advice

Hi
My current set up is
- gen3 stillen cai
- fastintensions res testpipe
- UR lighter pulley (probly don't matter)

And I'm debating if I should get cat exhaust? Do you guys think it will help/make a difference?
Thanks

From: Framingham Ma,
I did not dyno my car stock but I do not think you can see 300WHP with the stock CB. I could be wrong tho, But I do know you should get all your mods then get it tuned.

New Exhaust of course.... Better sound, a little more HP - best of both worlds!

The cat exhaust will definitely, definitely make a difference, especially in addition to what you already have! Do not tune your car until you get it, so that you won't have to retune it for the exhaust to kick in. Get the catback, then get it tuned altogether and you're gonna see some amazing results. You'll be very close, if not over, the 300 WHP mark with a catback added to your setup.

And yes, make it a new exhaust, of course! Go with Fast Intentions since you already have the TP's. It'll be a lot better and will sound amazing. Although the FI exhaust will take 3 months till you get it, so you might have to go with one that's already waiting somewhere to be shipped.

So I went ahead anyways with my tuning with stock exhaust and the car made 299.5hp. I'm really happy with this result but wish could have made the 300...

I have to scan the result and but don't know how to post it.

Damn, man! That's really good! The TP's and Stillens really help that out. What're your torque numbers?

300 is nice but doesn't really mean much. Did you get a baseline to do before and after?

Different dyno's read different numbers. 300 on one could be 270 on another. What is more important is what your before/baseline run was so you can see the actual gains that were made. If you baselined at 295 then the gains weren't much.

Have you ever seen anyone have 295hp baseline?

He's not trying to attack you calm down. He's just trying to establish what kind of gains you achieved? You dyno'd 299.5.. Sooooooooo what did u gain?
