Also, uprev doesn't exactly translate to a happy car. GTM's tune isn't doing well on my car. I'm now being forced into looking at a custom tune.
Your right but my UPREV is a custom tune. Thats what I was getting at nothing that is just uploaded to the car.. Custom tune for a FI car is the best way to go. GTM custom tunes are VERY good.

I don't know what you are referring to by VERY good? If you have a GTM FI kit with good tune that is doing well for your car, great. Mine tune from GTM isn't doing well, this is why i said I'm now being forced to look into getting a custom tune.

SO you sent your car to GTM and had them put it on a dyno and tune it?

GTM has a canned tune that they ship with their supercharger. That canned tune is NOT a custom tune for your car. The tune GTM ships should really just be considered a rough tune to start with so you can get to a tuner without blowing it up.

hey easy bud! he drove all the way from Calgary(somewhere far far away in Canada)down to GTM and had them installed his stage 2 S/C, tuned by GTM on their dyno. now that tune isn't working out for him, he's most definately not running their canned tune out of the box. just trying to be clear with you before things get's out of control. this man paid a lot of money for his upgrades and things is just going downhill for him. as you can tell from his tone he's very unhappy about it. sure many people can have good experience with them maybe just not him. i'm a GTM fan and running their stage 1, have all types of good things to say about their kit but when you have problems. you're on your own

s2ktoEvo, yes that's exactly what i did, the grey G35 sedan in the press release is mine.

Weiboy, thanks very much for clarification.

And for the record, I can't say all bad about GTM, after all I'm representing their product. GTM really does make a very well built kit and the R&D work that has been done is of very high quality. But the tune currently on my car is to what i believe the cause of all issues on my car, this means that now i'm looking at someone local who i can trust to re-tune my car. So yes i'm disappointed since i was expecting a perfect car but instead i have more headache and problems to deal with and extra money to spent. I guess with these kind of extreme mods, it never works out as easily as planned.

Wonder if it's an altitude thing? You up at high elevation or anything?

Probably not. I've kept in close contact with him when he was here in Cali and once he left GTM problems started popping up

Altitude difference between GTM and Calgary is under 500ft (within 100ft if your on the 10 freeway),
Do you think since Calgary is in Canada and UP north that it's "higher"??

Actually your data is wrong, altitude of Rancho Cucamonga is a bit less then 1000 ft above sea level, on the other hand, Calgary AB is around 3750 ft above sea level, so there is a pretty significant difference. But the my car's tune issue doesn't have anything to do with the altitude.

I just want to say sorry to the OP, we have detoured off the topic way too much. If the rest of you want to follow my issues, please comment on the build thread for my car.

My mistake, I must have thought the figure I found was in feet and it was meters....
