Did you get these R2Cs used or new? It seems as if you have the G35 Sedan in which case you need a "fitment kit" which ships with R2C intakes.

This allows for you to remove those big breather elements(rectangular black boxes where the pipe connects with the intake) and replace with a Y connector on the driver side and a 90 degree elbow on the passenger side that they send which make is it easier to connect.

If you bought it used from a G37 owner then they might not have the kit since they dont require the 'extra' connectors to install these in their cars while we need em.

Hope that helps

Well when i didnt have the kit i just 'looped' the pipe over the intake tube and connected just fine(hope that makes sense) and drove like that for a week before i got the kit. Basically you can make it work if you want for a little while but tape the intake tubes with painters tape to avoid scratches.

There is no reason to ask for that piece as it should have been included in the package for the G35 specific kit that has a separate part number from the G37 intake. In this case unfortunately, it was overlooked when everything was packaged up in warehouse.

so i received my fitment kit and about have the intakes on but done have enough clamps for that tubing. @kool did you clamp all of them or leave them like they were in your photo? currently i used the screw clamp to attach the hose to the intake tube, then no clamp on the hose to 90 degree elbow, then a clamp on the 90 degree elbow to the tubing on the car. driver side is similarly set up. will this be fine or do i need to go get clamps for those missing connections?

I don't believe those kits come with clamps.

Dont worry about it, i havent had any clamps on those tubings for over 2 years now with no issues, they are still on tight. Just make sure when you install it you push it up as much as you can and check them for a week and you should be good.

Basically what you see in my pics is how i left it without any issues.
