Long term affects of supercharger?
btw, thanks again for that winker! i'm planning on installing it soon once i figure out how to drill the holes on my mirror cap. the wiring schematic is the easy part but running all them wires will be a PPPIIITTTAAA!
While my 2010 g37s is stock (kind of enjoying having a warranty for once), I do have alot of CF s/c experience coming from the BMW side. My last 2 daily driven (including midwest winters) were with aftermarket s/c. My e36 had an ESS system which was installed at 105k by previous owner and I sold in perfect running conditions at 160k. THis car was occasionally autocrossed and tracked at Heartland park.
My setup was a an Active Autowork Stg 1 c38 rotrex , on an 04 zhp sedan. Installed at around 50k and sold in perfect running condition at 67k.
Neither one of these cars left me stranded in about 5 years of daily driving. I did foul a spark plug on a cold start ( 20 degrees in the garage) only because I abruptly shut the car off without letting it warm up, which required a tow to the shop to get it figured out (I'm lazy and don't like to work in cold garages)
My recommendations:
1. Be patient with initial install, little vaccum leaks and occasional CEL are part of the deal. Once the intial minor things are sorted most of these setups are quite reliable and maintenance free.
2. Change plugs every year , with ngk bkr (colder than OEM)
3. Inspect your belt twice per year, charge pipes twice per year and tighten as necessary
4. FLuid changes per s/c manufacturer
5. I never changed my oil change interval as both systems were self contained. (around 7k with mobil 1)
6. In freezing weather allow car to idle for a few minutes before driving to allow s/c oil to warm up. Some people have seized older vortech v2's by not doing this.
Gas Mileage: 5-10% drop off boost, daily mixed driving. Pure highway, <5%drop if any at all off boost, on track 75% drop
Hope this helps.

i really don't think you'll have any problems with the GTM's S/C kit. so far i've put on a little over 3k miles and not a single problem except for a little minor oil leaks from the oil line fittings which isn't a problem at all. the only concern is since you live in Indonesia your car might have different spec's and GTM's reflash might not work for you but what do i know lol. it's best to give Sam@GTM a call, really can't speak on his behave except to brag about how well built his kit is.
