You can buy the paddle shifters and it's plug-in-play. Contact Riverside Infiniti. There are also a couple people here who've done that, so maybe they'll chime in as well.

there is a diy here on the forums. search it.

Its basically the lower column on the steering wheel. Paddle shifter kit comes with all parts needed.

(Lee37xNJ says the paddle shift kit can be installed without removing the steering wheel like it shows in this DIY)

just rotate the steering wheel to access the trim screws for removal and installation.you have to kinda flex the old lower trim off due to the lip that extends into the wheel a bit.the new lower trim has no lip.go for it-these are fun+look cool.i have a wheat/wood interior so the paddles make it a bit unusual

I've done it and I use them every day... Riverside was awesome. Took me about 30 minutes to get it all together and check it out, then about 15 minutes to do the job. You don't need a torx wrench!

Getting the column off without removing the steering wheel (and air bags) is the most difficult part, but it's all not bad at all.

If you have ever installed a car stereo as a teenager, it's a piece of cake... (51 here).

What Lee37xNJ said is true - rotating the steering wheel during install is key to making it easy...

I have a question for anyone who has paddle shifters ...
If you're driving in D mode, and you want to downshift one gear, do you have to first bring the shifter to the left to the DS/Man Mode and then flick the paddle to downshift? Or do you just flick the paddle without ever touching the shifter, leaving it in D?

AFAIK you have to switch to DS mode. I have them on my sport and rarely use them though.

Not sure what AFAIK stands for. If you have to throw it to DS first, it kinda defeats the purpose for me personally. Sometimes I need a quick downshift when driving on the highway. If I need to first move the shifter and THEN flick the paddle, well then there's nothing quick about it. Might as well just use the shifter.

Sorry, it means "as far as i know." I may be wrong due to my limited use of it but that's the conclusion I made when I did use it.

To answer your question, here you go
