Motul 8100 Xmax

Has anyone used/like this oil? I didnt see a thread on it, and anyone talking about motul seems to talk about the "eco" lines. So how do you feel about x max? Ive looked at it because i want an ester based synthetic, and i can get it locally. Its a bit priced, but thats fine.

I am using it right now. I thought if I'm gonna spend that much on nissan ester oil so I can get rid of the valve ticking, I might as well try this. However, this didn't get rid of the valve ticking

MPG is about the same, didn't notice a difference. Smoother engine maybe - I am almost at 8000km (5000mi) and no issues. I'm gonna change oil this weekend to PP and see if I notice a difference.

I was gonna try redline ester next but got a good deal on PP. I remember reading here someone had positive experience with redline, made the engine smooth and got rid of valve ticking.

Right on. I was gonna try pp so I though I'd give Xmax a try instead. I've been running on regular convention an I wanna switch to synthetic cuz of the winter climate. I'll see if I Notice a difference
