Cool My G is in the shop! They broke my cat!

Popped up with a P2A00 code last week for the the primary O2 at 23K miles. 2 days before my appointment, the light just shut off while I was driving. Figured it was a hiccup and the dealer would probably just clear the freeze frame data and send me on my way. Nope, they decided to replace the O2 anyway. The advisor said when the tech tried removing the sensor, it snapped off inside the cat. So they have to order a new cat for Monday.

I just thought it was a tad odd for the sensor to snap. My car is only a year old. I've changed sensors on cars 10-15 times my cars age and didn't have that happen. LMAO. Even did one on a 2004 G 2 months ago. Came out fine. But I could care less as long as they fix it!
