Uprev - How much did you pay?
Hey guys,
I just purchased some Berk HFC, FI CF exhaust and am looking into Stillen Gen 3. I know I will need an Uprev tune after this to correct A/F ratios etc. and am looking to find out how much its going to run me. How much have you guys paid? Also has anyone had it done in the Maryland area?
Thanks

I'd say your looking at about $500ish for an UPREV tune, but honestly it's worth every penny to get the car running right after adding bolt ons.
well, i had to buy tires first.. lol i'm still waiting for putting my GT30s. after i install my wheels and sell my stock, i will get uprev i got quote for $550 which is good deal.

That where I got my car tuned for WOT and driveability. I couldn't be happier.
Hill's Garage tunes using Uprev and he charges $650 plus tax. That's $300 for the license plus $350 for the tune. Frank the tuner has been doing what he does best for over 20 years and knows his chit. There's other places around town (I won't mention any names) that charge $800 for a crap tune and won't even give you the time of day. Hill's tune is guaranteed.

anywhere you go you are probably looking at $500-$800 (I know that's a big range but I've seen all kinds of different prices)
But the thing to keep in mind is that what you are really paying for is the tuner himself. The tuner makes all the difference in the world. If they actually know what they are doing they can make amazing gains on your car. If they don't know what they are doing they might only get 1-2 WHP and even can screw something up.
Tuning is an incredible skill and takes a lot of experience to really get the fine touches down. Before you actually do it I would go to different places and watch them tune a couple Nissan/Infiniti's and see how they do

He just told me he started a GTM TT build on a 370Z, so I'm gonna swing by and check it out tomorrow. Yep... A reputable shop and tuner that's been working on nissans and infinitis for a long time makes all the difference.

Hills garage quoted 650. There tuner has 20 years experience and they have a good rep. Think I found my place although i will not be getting my exhaust and HFC there seemed way to expensive compared to Elite.
Let me know how everything goes with your exhaust install. Should be there on Monday. Bet you can't wait!!
