Question about Samco coolant hoses

Has anyone tried to get remove white Samco logo off of the silicone hoses? Can it be done without harming the hose itself or marring the shiny finish?

i have a friend that tried, u'll damage the hose...he got it off, but after the word came off, it was a non-glossy finish underneath
