is every out of the box tune going to have to be altered depending on the aftermarket set up headers, cat, and catback. or just hfc and catback i need some answers because i haven't strated any engine mods and i don't want to buy something that im not going to need or cant use for the sc. i was thinking the fast intentions long tube headers with the intimidator exhaust. but i was reading in the gtm thread the the lth's were causing a loss in psi. so would the stock headers fi hfc's and fi intimadator exhaust be a good set up?

hmmm. great idea lol. i hava one of those small HP desktops that i can literally grab by one hand and i can surely extend that down stairs and into my car and upload the new tune. and that thing has wireless network. that might work!

There are multiple 'out of the box tunes' that coincide with the different configurations of the vehicle available from us. But yes, your modifications will change the tune necessary for the vehicle.

At this point, we have not had a chance to work with the F.I. LTH's.. so I'd rather not speculate, but the Vortech Supercharger we're using is capable of 20+ lbs of boost.

Also, there is always the option to have your car custom tuned at a local UpRev (or other) tuner, and can tune your car specificially if you change modifications or do something custom.

i don't need the carb approval so i wouldn't mind a custom tune from uprev. but i want to find out all the details of the warranty ( will having a custom tune void warranty?) well maybe for now i will just get the catback exhaust and hold off on hfc's/lth's in hope of someone testing these out before me. also would an "out of box tune" be fine to drive with unitl i get to uprev? ( and then uprev would just tweak the tune)
