I'm not sure that you can say that nobody has had any problems reusing crush washers. Just that some people have not had problems.
It may very well be that you can reuse them for the life of your car. Or maybe they eventually wear down and start leaking. But at 10 for 7.50 I'd just as soon put a new one on.
