How Strong are the G37 (08 5AT?)

My friend is looking to purchase a used G37S 5AT and was wondering if it has a much better tranny than the G35's 5AT because he plans to go mild boost later down the road (Probably GTM SC or Stage 1 TT).

It'll be his DD as well as his wife's DD, that's why he's looking for an easy driving car.

Thanks.

The G35's and G37S 5 speed A/T both share the same transmission model RE5RO5A with some minor programing differences in the TCM

If you are planing on doing any forced induction set up i would recommend a valve body upgrade and a trans cooler and that will do it

Thanks Sam. Exactly what we'd need to know.
