Noob g37 battery question

Hello,

Since I'm going to be taking delivery of my G37x monday, I'm trying to get more details about this potential battery issue.

I guess what I'm wondering is if anyone has seen any rhyme or reason as to what cars have a battery issue? Or to ask another way, is there a pattern? (For instance, is it more common with modded cars? Ones with a specific option package like the navigation package or another one? More common with 2008's or 2009's? Etc.)

Just was curious. Oh, and for no good reason whatsoever, I'll put the domo smiley up. I like how he dances!

i believe has nothing to do with the cars, more just the battery, no one here has really gone and tested voltage draw etc etc, but after many people replaced batteries, whether it's another infiniti one (may or may not die again, some people are on their 3rd) or aftermarket (only 1 person here has said it didnt help their situation) it was solved.

i just got my car 2 days ago and while i was messing around with the navi music box w/o starting up the car, the car completely shut off on me and wouldn't let me start the car at all.

I let it sit overnight w/o able to do much on the car and called the roadside assistant. They send someone out early in the morning to jumpstart the car and it works just fine now.

I was messing around navi for about 30 minutes before this happened.

im no electronic expert but, 30mins of decent draw seems perfectly reasonable to drain a battery but glad everything works now

For what it's worth everyone.......I killed by battery the day after I bought the vehicle by trying to load CDs to the music box with the fob in the car and the engine off (of course). The other thing I discovered is that the impact sensor option has an excessive voltage draw, it would kill the battery if I left the vehicle sitting for more than a couple days.....so I had the dealer disconnect it about 5 months ago. I've had no battery issues since.
