so today, as i was driving down from orlando to miami, i had just got out of the toll, and i was accelerating, i missed the shift because i have the (6mt). A couple minutes later my exhaust sounds completely different, and it sounds like sh*t, it also seems as if there might be an exhaust leak, but i really dont know. If you could, please get back to me...

LOL you didnt miss a shift because you have a 6mt. Not every 6mt owner misses shifts.

I can't imagine anything happening to the exhaust as a result of a miss shift. The only thing I can think of is that you overreved the engine and something blew up.

 

yeah, i overreved it... what do u think could have blown up? i just got my oil changed today too

 

I doubt anything blew up actually. I havent heard anyone blowing up our engines from missed shifts. If you have really abused the engine many times before, then it might be possible. Does the car idle normally? Any leaks?
