Lets all think about this for a second. Of course the supercharger system will be cheaper than the TT setup.

With the TT kit you have 2 turbos to start and the turbo manifolds.
Say if the turbos are $1000.00 each we'll save $1000.00 off the total cost right there.

$7999(turn ket kit)-1000 = $6999.00

Now this only happens if the kit used one compressor. With a supercharger kit you won't have to worry about turbo manifold lets say they are $200 each. That's a total of $400.00 but lets only take away 200.00 because of the SC mounting bracket.

$6999.00-200 = $6799.00 For the turn ket system

So if we minus the cost of the parts alone, the kit will cost anywhere from $6400.00 -$6999.00. GTM is a business so they still need to make a profit. Also, they can't cannibilize there turbo system sales by making the SC too cheap. So expect mid to high 6's to make the two FI systems competitive.

That seems like some obscene gains. I wonder if it would not stress internals.I mean wouold you not consider you would have to if it is reliable for daily driving.

550whp is the max gain with the Stg.1. You'll most likely tone it down with a boost controller and make a good 450whp for DD. Terry is running 460whp DD in his HR sedan i believe.

If they make it less than $6000.00 everyone will buy the SC system right away. We won't think about buying TT kit and that's going to hurt the TT kit sales. The key is to make them competitive because the SC kit does have limits vs its cost. The SC kit's cost should reflect those disadvantages over the TT system.

I'll run at least 500 hp, I am mainly concerned about the tq numbers.

Of course man, TT is much more crazy so thats normal, no problems for daily driving. And no it will not stress the internals, because the TTs are putting down way more power to stock block no issues. But that Cobb Tuning of yours got to go or it could be risky lol
