The 7at is a sealed trans.

If you haven't located the transmission dipstick, then look towards the firewall and the back of the upper intake manifold on the passenger side.

This will not void your warranty. I have both the oil and trans cooler on my G. It won't hurt the car.

How much did it cost to get those installed? Or did you do it yourself? I haven't seen a DIY for the transmission cooler.

Is there any transmission cooler install threads for the G37? I have looked all over and all I ever find is oil cooler installs (which I plan on doing).

Aren't all auto tranny's cooled through the radiator? Not sure if if a small cooler makes a difference.

you're just tapping the lines to and from the stock radiator. Seems gimmicky to me.

I thought the same thing (and I believe you are right), but the cooling is not enough for hard driving apparently. Its just that I have not even seen a DIY for this upgrade anywhere.

I found this as a DIY
Stillen 7AT coolers installed? - Nissan 370Z Forum

Does anyone know if our trans connections are 3/8 or 5/16? I wasn't sure if I needed to order these same connection parts from Summit. Please let me know thanks.

7AT-equipped cars include a trans cooler in the radiator. This is very common.

That said, more cooling is required if you track your G. I ran an event a couple of months ago, temps were in the low 80s and it was raining, yet the trans started misbehaving. I used manual mode yet the trans would sometimes upshift unbidden and ignore some downshift commands. Rather irritating.

I also got the manual triple pass csf radiator as I figured I would just use the stillen trans cooler instead of using the radiator. This is ok right?

Triple pass won't fit cars with 7AT, according to Z1.

I have a coupe. CSF said it should fit as a direct drop in.
