You put a stage 2 kit in yours? What were your final numbers? How long did your install take? Sounds like significant savings can be made by self install. You should start up a thread - people would be interested to know.

 

I'm not 100% yet. My kit was shipped with some things incorrect and since I didn't know the difference never saw that they weren't right. e.g. Mass Air bung backwards and the original reducer was basically straight through. So for the first 50-100 miles I was getting 80-100psi oil to the turbo seals. Not good. I'll post a review when it's 100% sorted.

 

i had an 07 VW Gti 2.0T - same deal, the exhaust had smoke coming out of it when you hit it real hard, and so has every other turbo/superchargerd car i have ever raced or seen driven hard, they just blow fumes out the back - you'll probably see some oil consumption down the line, i def had it. good luck, id LOVE to have a Turbo on my g37 lol but then it wouldnt have the "reliability" that an Infiniti comes with lol

 

I never saw that on my Supra or S4

 

I think it all depends on the tuner/installer. Some say GTM's work is more reliable than OEM lol

 

GTM makes the kit. That would be the only place where I would get it done.

yea, external wastegate and open dump pipe. i believe the open dump was because my exhaust was not made yet. sam said they are shipping it today so *crosses fingers* can get that boost controller in soon!

No! word is it shipped friday (today) so I hope its here next week! Yeesh. Ill have new videos and stuff of exhaust note. Can't wait!
