As long as you run good fuel (race fuel mix would be nice) to prevent detonation, and relatively low boosy levels (~8psi) the engine will hold up quite well. One problem with bolting on a turbo to a stock bottom end VQ37 is that the car already has an 11:1 compression ratio, which is high even for a N/A engine. You usually target an 8:1-9:1 compression ratio depending upon how much boost you plan to make.

Are they really 11:1? I didn't know that. Hmm. Maybe I should look into buying a nitrous kit for the car as well as the diesel.
