i dont see why you have to wait. 500 miles is more than enough to break in the engine. you should be able to drive the car how you want now.

I'm pretty sure the limiter is raised 500rpm on Stage 1 and 2 -- not positive though. As far as I could tell, there is no way to do this manually.

If it's like other AP's, you can raise it with a custom tune, but the rev limit is hard coded into the flash.

but does it still make power up there???
If not then you wouldn't rev it up there anyway...i think most dyno graphs haven't been up to that high so idk.

for those of you with the cobb AP and have additional mods not covered in stage 1 or 2, Cobb is more then willing to do custom tunes for you. As soon as I recieve my AP, cobb and I will start exchanging data readings and they will send me custom maps to try until we find the perfect parameters for my ride. All this can be done through email. I'm taking my car to a shop to pull some runs on a dyno and get readings with the AP, cobb will then take those numbers and come up with a custom map to download onto the AP. After doing this 2 or 3 times... whalah.. I got a custom map, my own personal stage 3

dynoed my car....makes power all the way up top..but found a problem, my AP is missing at least one item....i installed it and felt power, i put the stock tune on for the dyno 2nite as my base, went from base, stage 1 and then stage 2, run and made only a couple ponies extra at stage 2 from my base...my mapping is not workin in my car or when i uninstalled the AP it deleted something...not really sure...but i am working with COBB to fix the situation..

thanks to MANNY @ N R G tech performance in long island, hooked me up and did mucho runs for me, John @ COBB, and Sharif at forged like always hes the effin man!!
