HELP! someone broken bolt

ok i was installing my black betty grounding kit and everything was going fine until i got to driver side screw and i starting unscrewing and it came out then i screw back in it was still lose and i was screwing and it finally got screw on then it just snap. Now the screw is in the inside but the HEx part fell off so i cant even stick another screw in there or anything how do i get it out!? I only have half the screw now the other half is screw in the block

can i just forget that screw and just screw the grounding kit to the screw above it like the passenger side?

Just Google it. It is a tool to back out your head-stripped bolt. Happens all the time.

Spiral screw extractor. You'll need to drill a small hole in the broken bolt and use the EZ out to back it out. Be more careful.

Thank you. Take your time and drill it straight so you don't F up the threads of the hole.

ouch! you must have applied way too much torque when re-tightening that bolt.

the recommended torque values are all in the service manual. 20 ft-lb may not seem like alot, but it's enough. (i don't know the actual value for this specific bolt, but it's probably not far off.)
