Exhaust Question

I've been looking around the forum for info on exhausts. It seems like the best sound/gains comes from the HKS but it looks like the exhaust costs about $1700? What are my other options? I want a deep, throaty sound and also gains but not as expensive. I should probably do an intake as well right? Injen CAI?

Buy my hks rear section. HKS sound/looks without the HKS price. Goes on sale next week.

Wrong the exhaust the has dynoed giving the most hp is the BORLA exhaust...... There is also STILLEN, magnaflow, and others.. For intake the new STILLEN gen 3 intake.. By far the best out...

go with the stillen gen 3 intake. freaking sick looking.

you can buy an axle back exhaust then buy a y pipe. that should bring you around 1.1-1.3k

I loved my Borla on my G35 but I was cursing their name when I had to grind, bend, and beat it on because of poor production tolerances. Word on the street is that is pretty common for their exhausts. My Fast Intentions CF came yesterday and I can tell be just looking at it, that the quality is much better than Borla. I just hope I don't need a pry bar and hammer to install it.

check out mod 411 section and look at all exhaust options there. you're going to receive biased answers from everyone so you should check it out for yourself. lots of info with most dynos and websites to check out. out of searchin around it seems to me that hks, FI, borla, and stillen have been more of the favorites. as far as intakes seems ppl have been all over the new stillen gen 3 extra long! good luck and happy modding

What about the Greddy Ti-C G37 exhaust system? does any1 know if that is any good? cuz it sounds amazing and is priced pretty reasonably. I'm thinking of getting them for my G37s but does any1 know the power gains on those exhausts?
