Tranny problems?

Hi,

I was recently driving my G37S Auto Tranny from Vegas to Los Angeles, the temperature outside was 108F.

There was alot of stop and go traffic, and I was experiencing major driving problems with my G37.

When I would accelerate to say 20mph, my Auto Tranny would upshift, then downshift as if it didnt know I wanted to coast at 20mph. Also, when I braked from 20 mph to 0 mph at around 5mph I would get this huge lunging forward feeling even though I was applying my brakes. I am guessing this is from the tranny downshifting to 1st gear.

Is this normal for a Auto Tranny to do this in stop and go 108F traffic?

I also noticed that my AT has a harsh 2-3 shift.

Should I be concerned? Or is that kinda just how its supposed to be.

Thanks.

I had the surging rpms as well. Take it to the dealer and they'll reflash the ecm.
