Question: Reflash and Crank Pulley

My car has a Technosquare reflash. I am going to install the UR crank pulley next week but I'm not sure if you can do this without it messing up the reflash somehow. Input would be appreciated from anyone with knowledge in this area. I called Technosquare and Tadashi is out of the country so I couldn't get an answer from the source.

Thanks

Not sure how much actual performace you will get out of the crank pulley besides weight savings but theoretically if it does increase performace than your reflash will be off since it was done on your existing mods. Typically a reflash is the last mod you do.

I'm no expert, but I very seriously doubt it will make any difference at all to your reflash.

Pulley shouldn't effect your reflash. Reflash deals with timing, AF ratio, throttle etc.. in the ecu. UR pulley simply unleashes hp that you were losing do to the weight of the stock pulley. It doesn't changes AF ratio or anything like that. Exhaust, intake, hfc's etc.. have an impact on these numbers, but pulleys don't.

Thanks for the input...I guess Tadashi's secretary emailed him and he responded back today....Tadashi said the pulley wont effect the reflash.

off topic question.. you drove to tadashi and had an inhouse dyno session.. and reflash.. or you mailed in your ecu? if you dyno'd what were your gains from base and after flash .. and what are your mods?

I drove to his shop...I never dynoed my car but apparently the reflash can give you up to 20 hp. I am not sure how much torque. I felt a big difference and I have intakes, HFC, and an exhaust.
