Hello All,

I want to give a bit of extra "oomph" to the G. Here is a setup I configured (But not yet ordered) -

Greddy Racing Ti-C Dual Exhaust
Injen Cold Air Intake (Kind of scared to put these on, since it rains excessively here, I don't want to drown it, but the power gain claims 14+WHP, which is nice...)
Eibach Pro kit Springs
BLITZ THROTTLE CONTROLLER


I am thinking of keeping stock wheels for now, and focus on engine. Don't want to overdo it, and money is kind of an issue (Meaning, don't want to go for the HKS Hi-Power exhaust which is like $2k+). I estimated the above at around $1700+labor.

What do you guys think of setup above? Should I swap something out for something better? I like the idea that most are bolt-ons, since, I can always swap back to factory, should I decide to give back on lease-end, or sell.

Dont bother with the Injen. If you are looking for power they are not worth it. They look and sound good but that is about it. Go with a good set of HFC or save a few $$ and get the JWT intakes. They will produce as much or more power for less money.

 

power gains on the injen have been significantly less when tested by members, so if you get alot of rain, go with the JWT. You might want to consider the borla exhaust for a couple hundred more bucks.

 

yeah if it rains don't go with injen, and the hp claims aren't as high as they are supposed to be... but i love them because of the sound, at least it doesn't LOSE power....

borla is said to have the most gains... so you might want to look into that

Go with the HKS exhaust

 

HFCs (High flow cats) & Technosquare reflash are the best bang for the buck.

 

what's the throttle controller going to accomplish?

 

the hks would be more than his entire budget... but I second I second the fact that he should buy it, simply to post dynos

and the HKS is way out of my league.. too much $$$.

 

id replace the exhaust with an FI exhaust...

 

Borla, HFC's, for about $1600 and has been dyno proven the best gains.

 

probably not a bad little deal but for the cash, I'll just push it down to the floor harder.....
