G37 clutch the same as 350z/G35?

Are the flywheels and clutches for the 350z/G35 compatible with the G37s (6 speed)? I heard that they are the same but has anyone confirmed this? Isn't the 6 speed manual transmission in the G35 exactly the same as the 6 speed that is in the G37s? Does anyone know?

Well according to these guys (http://gtmotorsports.com/) they are the same. If you check their website a look for clutches for the G37, clutches and flywheels show up that also fit the 360z and G35. These are the same guys who built a twin turbo setup for the G37, so maybe they know what they are actually talking about. I don't know much about these cars but I was trying to find out for a friend who thought he blew his clutch (he actually snapped his axle at the track). I'm actually an Evo driver, its so nice to have traction

Different part numbers I can understand that's Infiniti with a new car, but physically different parts I can't undertand why. Someone help I want a better clutch/flywheel.

You should PM SAM@GTM. Given that they've put in more work than any other company on our engine thus far, he'll probably have a definitive answer.

I actually have G35/350Z Exedy racing Clutch and flywheel sitting in my garage. This would be great if it were true.

I am pretty sure they are the same due to the fact that the JWT clutch/flywheel works for both models. Here is the info that has been in the Modding411 section under engine upgrades forever.

Jim Wolf Technology VQ35HR/VQ37 Flywheel

JWT HD Clutch 350Z / G35 / G37 w/HR engine (2 throttles) HIGH CLAMPING FORCE CLUTCH SET. 1200KG clamping force and a smooth organic disc makes this the best choice for street / track 350Z-G35-G37 including boosted cars!

PART NUMBER: L3507-NCHR0

and the other:

Jim Wolf Technology 2007+ HR Clutch

JWT Flywheel 350Z / G35 / G37 w/HR engines (2 throttles). This low inertia flywheel weighs in at only 15.4lbs. Cutting the weight of the stock dual mass unit by 45% allows the VQ engine to instantly respond to its true potential. Deceleration is also improved allowing the engine to quickly slow the car with less load on the brakes.

PART NUMBER: L3507-NFHR0
