ECU tune finally done!!

I finally picked up my car from Technosquare. Here is a dyno sheet with 5 different set-up options. All of these graphs are off the third pull for each configuration, that way the car is warmed up and they get more true numbers. You can see the descriptions of each set-up next to the color for the graph. All of the tests were done with a GReddy Evo2 exhaust.

These numbers are off of the dyno Tsquare uses, not sure of the type.

These numbers are pretty close to what a Dyno Jet dyno would be.

Tadashi said the car has its own mind of what it wants to do. So he had to do a lot of factoring and trial and error to get it right.

The car is really a head snapper now. You hit the gas and you are gone. He programmed the throttle body so now the accelerator tells it what to do. Before the ECU would find what it thought was the best position for the TB and it would close it by up to 20%, the closer you get to redline. This is just one example of the things our car does to us.

Here is a pic of a MT that he was working on. The red line is stock and the black line is a Fujita with tuning.

The only issue now is each options package for the car needs a different program. All of the computers in the car talk to each other and make it difficult to tune the car. Even having a NAV package and a non-NAV package is a different program. So if you have an AT Sport with NAV you should be able to get the tune done now. If you have other options call them up they could probably use your car for a tuning trial.

^^ Agreed. Can you give us the basics of what the difference from stock to all the other runs was?

Not too hard to read, if you've seen your share of dyno sheets.

Hey Dieseldoug, is the Greddy exhaust you guys were using the one for the G35?

Well....if you check the top there's a small description of what set-up they have. Each set-up has a color to it. All you do is check whiched colored line you're looking at with the legend at the top of the sheet.

So basically he made the most power on the set-up with the technosquare/fuji intakes/HFCs.

Yes it is made for the G35. I changed the rear sway and it fit pretty well. I liked the fact that it follows the same tubing path as the stock, so that way you keep some of the back pressure for the Torque.

It looks like on the first dyno he used he got:
Max HP: 270.4
Max TQ: 222.6

On the dyno that technosquare used:
Max HP: 312.0
Max TQ: 256.8

Both are the same dyno. The second picture are numbers that are what it would look like if it was done on a Dyno Jet. Since dynos measure differently the second pic is for a better representation of a Dyno Jet comparison. They are both the same graphs.

Nice. That was some pretty nice gains from that combo. Which EVO2 exhaust was it. Was it the NA model or the one for FI?
