ECU tune finally done!!
This is true, but no one is redeveloping the block, crank, girlde etc. I haven't looked into the engine, but I think it's safe to say that this block was not intended for FI. So If I take one and keep as is and take an exact block and make it FI, the FI will fail before the NA. making more HP induces more mechanical / thermo stress and there is no way to get around the physics of that.
I think that Nissan was intending for the block to handle a fair amount of FI or they wouldn't be throwing it in the 370z next year. I could understand the internals breaking down if it produced to much boost but me thinks a fair amount is all good.

the Z isnt going to have FI
NIssan doesnt give a rats *** if u buy the Z/G and add FI to it
Not entirely true... If people know that the motor will handle boost on stock internals it will have more tuners interest... Just like how mitsu is putting the new 2.4 motor with really good internals in the lancer so people will swap the evo motor out for that... Not like a lancer needs anything close to the internals they are putting in there for no boost...

i am not going to turn this into a debat but you are speaking from what you have read and not from what you have experienced and from not even talking to the guys there or seeing there shop or the work they have done..
im not going to lye they have had a few bad things happen but what shop doesnt, but they have also turn the shop completely around...

I won't copy paste a summary of all the problems ppl been having with the shop (it was majority 350z guys) since I too have heard that they turned some stuff around to resolve issues with staff, techs, etc. Im sure many ppl will have good experiences too, but personally based on what facts i kno, i will def be wary for now.
good luck!

I'm confused regarding the FI debate about engine capability.....
Didn't GTM already prove that the internals in this engine are extremely solid for FI by TT'ing a stock 3.7 engine and getting it up to 550hp/502tq before the clutch finally slipped?

Not really since they didn't take apart the engine to see if any damage was caused or they didn't tell us what the findings were. Just because the engine didn't blow up at that boost doesn't mean damage was not done. I think the engine can handle boost without an issue but no one will know until they boost a car and take apart the engine to see if any or what damage is done. It is all speculation until then.
