the ECU part number tells which program is in which, if it comes from an AT or MT, then user needs to specify it since there might be variations in the code for transmission type.

Does an ECU flash from Technosquare fix the AT problem that was released in the TSB section?? I have the RPM surge once in a blue moon and have not brought my car in to be flashed for the fear of having it slow me down like some drivers have reported. If Technosquare fixes this surge problem listed in the TSB in would be awesome!! Anyone know???

now if i understand it correctly technosquare will take your ecu # and mods list and flash a new map on there, but if you take it into them they can throw it on the dyno and fine tune the flash to your car specifically, right? I'm gonna drive out there in a week or 2 to get the flash done and see what it unlocks with all my mods. I don't want just some general settings though, I want vehicle specific tuning

when I got my ECU reflashed by Technosquare, it did not take car of the TSB prob...but after the reflash, you can still take it to the dealer for the TSB prob and they won't know about the Technosquare reflash.

The dealership can definetly see the technosquare flash, if they are looking for it. If they arn't cool, they can void your warranty, and/or reset your ecu to factory. Just be aware!!

Ya, the Technosquare reflash is not meant to fix this. It is meant to improve performance of your car.

According to Tadashi at Tsquare, He said unless the guy at the dealership can get into and read and write the code for the ECU they will not be able to see that it was done. I may be mistaken but I don't think that there are many mechanics that can program the computers. They plug the car into the Consult III and it tells them if the part is bad or not.

Hey Dieseldoug, I saw you on G-37 tech and emailed you about the Nav stuff earlier. Looks like you are making great contributions here as well. It appears you and Chebosto are both from Socal as well. I'm from LA and want to meet other owners as well to see what you guys have have done with your rides. I am also interested in meeting with Tadashi as well for the ECU reflash. How can I apply for prototyping. Just got my stock 6mt Sport/Premium/Nav/Tec last week and am eager for upgrading. Can you please give me Tadashi's contact info? PS: If interested I will pay you to do the Nav thing. Would rather pay someone who's done it before than someone who hasn't. I wish I was as tech savvy as you. Thanks for all your help.- mattmvespa@yahoo.com

Have you guys done a 6MT with Prem, Nav, Tech and 4WAS yet? If I were to be a "tester" car, how long would it take? I'm in the Riverside area.

flash on a stock 5AT?

Has anyone tried this on a fully stock 5AT?

Everyone that "feels" the difference seems to have some mods in place.

Just wondering if there will be a significant difference on a fully stock car. (read that the stock intakes aren't too bad...)

Also, anyone notice if your mpg got significantly worse?

Mine is a short term lease, so not going to spend too much on it... thanks.
