Whats up with ecu tuning?
I thought that way too at first. But if you have a generic tune from a hand held module and not a laptop or other computer device you are not going to get the most out of the tune. You need to put it on a dyno and see what needs to be done to get the best from the car. So either $500 for a reflash or $1500 - $3000 for a stand alone unit.
Well If you look at the accessport... that is going to be perfect if it has been tuned to the mods you have.... My boy just got it for his Z.... 20hp increase claiming... and it is priced around 700 i think...
it cant be tuned for your mods unless the car is on the dyno. every motor is different and will all have different results. We tuned three cobra's today all with the same mods but we needed to different things to each one because every car is uniqe. if we made one tune for all three going by just the mods each would have different results. claimed hp means nothing
