Nah the extra load would cause it overheat, or the fuel pump to die.

Yeah--I should have added that it should be pushed (pulled) by a 335i whenever the BMW was not in the shop. Unfortunately, BMWs are frequently in the shop.

Also...large amounts of primer (preferably *at least* the entire front, back, or one side of the car) aids in aerodynamic performance as well. Yes...our new G37's look great all shiny and stuff...but let's not be sissies. Get out the sandpaper and stock up on some really high quality primer. If you primer it, speed will come.

I could go on and on...but a picture is worth a thousand words. You want speed? You wanna play with the big boys? Here's what ya gotta do:

Don't forget supra's, diesel trucks, and almost any turbo vehicle...

Don't forget the more performance parts stickers you put on your car the better. It will actually push the air and make your car more aerodynamic, not to mention look TIIIIGHT AS HELL!

This is what I did for my g35c and I would assume it goes the same for the G37c. Plenum Spacer, Intake, exhaust, test pipes, headers, ECU reflash.
+25 in WHP and torque.

I am buying an M45 soon.

This is by no means a big power adder, but I am a big beliver in good lube! (for decreasing friction at those important times in life )

But seriously, Nissan has used some garbage fluids in the past. Throw some BG synchroshift or Royal Purple in the tranny/diff to get a few more ponies to the ground while protecting your sychros. Then, pick your fav synthetic oil for the engine. I have seen swapping to all synthetic free up 3 mpg and 12WHP on a Z71 truck before! (not that half that will be seen on the G37, but its still great to do while we wait to see what the aftermarket produces)

i think dropping 100lbs and still keeping the G37S form looking like a gutted track car is doable....maybe spare, lightweight battery, remove SOME sound deadning....maybe that's only 50lbs. but better than nothing.

also a 3.9FD will definately pick the acceleration right up. as well as maybe a reflash (whenever technosquare come out with one) and someminor breather mods.

lighter wheels will help too.

For the timebeing, there are a limited selection of power adders. With time that will change. On our shop car, we'll be going straight to forced induction on it, so not expecting to install too many breathing mods. Maybe just a large true dual exhaust.
