I just visited my local Infinti dealer and saw the G37 up close for the first time. I was really impressed with its looks, list of standard features, and price in contrast to the BMW 335. Based on what I am hearing I do wish the car had a little more power. FI is out of the question due to cost, and I am unwilling to spend 2k to pick up a few ponies. Does anyone make a 75-100 hp nitrous kit yet, I would love to get into the low 13's with this car at the next drag day.

You have break in periods, you have to wait for someone to text this system out first. Why not buy an STI or EVO if you want more power? Save you some dollars too

Let me also ask, if you're considering a 335i, You must not be that "broke" so how is a aftermarket TT kit for the G37 going to cost too much?

Well its not that I can't afford the 335 but something strikes me wrong about a 43k car that does not even offer leather. If I was going to spend another 6-8k I may as well get the Bimmer and a Procede. I've been the aftermarket FI route and struggled with realiabilty and my 6k supercharger costed me 20k after I blew my 32v v-8(it did make over 600 rwhp )

The sti and EVO are both nice cars but don't offer the refinement I am looking for.

Well you need to decide, Speed/power or Refinement/cost. Do you really need the more speed or is it just a preference? Honestly, the G has *****, and for the price you cant go wrong with what the G has to offer over the competitor. The 335i is only faster because of the 30ft lbs more torque and it all being available at below 2k rpm's. But there's a price to pay for all that as well, such as Cloth seats unless you grab an option package. For 43 and some change you can get a fully loaded G37 that's just a couple seconds behind the 335. Now unless you plan to track the car and take it to the strip, all that is not necessary.

If it's power you want, a 300c SRT-8 With 400+hp will give you the best of both worlds and fully loaded at about 40k.

The Challenger is coming out in early 2008 as well.

Me personally, I'm seriously considering holding out for the Lexus IS-F. Hope to hear more info on it soon. Price, more accurate release date, etc.

Nitrous kits are universal, any FI kit will work with the car.

Are you looking for a car with more power? Then I suggest that you buy an EVO. Pretty good car. It can easily be set up and modified.

4 years ago.....the guy likely has already moved on or picked up one of severalFI kits that have become available over the past several years since he posted this.
