Went to the dealer today and was able to duplicate chirping sound with the service rep.
Removed rear axle shafts apply Moly-Kote Grease to both ends. Re-torqued hub bolts to 177lbs.
Check the post dates, this thread's dead.... Maybe we need a sticky on the chirping. It's a known issue that the dealer will take care of if you bring yours in.
hey im experiencing the same thing also, only 600mi 6MT on the S. i thought i was the only one too, guess not. i called the dealer and left a message for a service writer to call me tomororw (monday) if i can come in and have a tech ride with me around he block. it's more like a click/bolt play or movement when in 1st or second or making turns. hopefully they i can duplicate and then if necessary make an appointment for next time.
i just brought my car down and a tech rode with me actually just foward and backwards in the parking lot and he said its the driveshaft bolts or something.
there is a TSB for it, so next week i get a loaner and new parts for my 600 mile driven g37s =/
so you gonna bring it back again for servicing??? maybe lemon. i'll post when i turn my car in on monday and get it back that day.
ya i am going to bring it back again. I dont think you can lemon it as its not a one car issue. its effected most cars which would require a TSB... not a lemon of all the cars
