I have an appointment to get my car tuned in a few weeks. I know they have to verify the rom id in uprev to do the tuning. And I know this can take a LONG time. That being said, does the car have to be present for this process. I assumed they壇 have to plug the car in to do this. Or is this something the tuner will do on their end before my dyno day?

 

It'd be best to direct any tuning questions to your tuner.

Having said that; you did not mention if this tune was in person or a remote e-tune. Either they are obtaining the ROM ID when they have your car or you are obtaining it and sending it to them.

 

I sent them an email, just thought someone my have some insight. It痴 being dyno tuned. I知 just trying to see if I値l need to plan for an extra day, or something like that. They池e 3 hours away from me, so I知 not trying to make back and forth trips. So I guess I知 waiting on that answer. From what I gathered from him, they値l be the ones obtaining the ID.
